Semente Cedro (Cedro Seed), business volunteer programme, aims to encourage collaborators, family, shareholders, pensioners, clients and suppliers in volunteer community activities. It is up to Cedro to stimulate volunteer work and promote the training of all who are willing to donate their time, work and talent to benefit others.

The programme is structured by means of the Executive Committee, responsible for the corporate co-ordination. Besides the Local Committees – of Caetanópolis, Pirapora and Sete Lagoas –, who prepare projects for the improvement of the quality of life of all communities around them.

The general objectives of Semente Cedro are: widen the reach of the company's social action; favour the dialogue between the company and its relationship public; strengthen the internal volunteer culture and join forces to meet the Millennium Objectives.
